Baseball Game Preview: New Diana Eagles vs. Edgewood Bulldogs

For the second straight game, New Diana will face off against Edgewood. The Eagles will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (New Diana 3.5, Edgewood 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

New Diana is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They didn't even let Edgewood on the board, marking the Eagles' second-straight 1-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Remi Rountree, who gave up just six hits to keep Edgewood off the board. Rountree has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
