Basketball Recap: Temecula Prep Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Temecula Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers by a score of 62-50 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-66 last Monday.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austyn Hopkins, who posted 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Cory Moore, who had 11 points.

Temecula Prep pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Temecula Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 87-39 win against Nuview Bridge on the 24th. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-44 victory against San Jacinto Valley Academy on the 24th.
