Volleyball Recap: Gibraltar Comes Up Short

Gibraltar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Peshtigo Bulldogs. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-13.

Megan Schar paced Gibraltar's offense, picking up five kills. Schar got some help from Isla Fagundes and her ten assists.

Gibraltar's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Peshtigo, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8.

Gibraltar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Oconto on the 14th. As for Peshtigo, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Chilton on the 11th.
