Softball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

If Southeastern was feeling good fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Franklin Monroe on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Chattanooga Christian Chargers on Friday, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since back in February.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Chattanooga Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Southeastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against West Point on the 3rd. As for Chattanooga Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Knoxville Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
