Basketball Recap: Colfax Takes a Loss

Colfax lost against Amery back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Colfax Vikings and the Amery Warriors didn't end well, with the Colfax Vikings falling 89-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (59), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Colfax's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Amery, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Colfax will challenge Boyceville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Colfax is facing Boyceville at the right time seeing as Boyceville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Amery, they will face off against Baldwin-Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Amery knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Baldwin-Woodville likes a good challenge.
