Rock Canyon is 7-2 against Legend since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Titans at 4:15 p.m. Rock Canyon is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Rock Canyon couldn't beat Castle View on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Jaguars fell just short of the Sabercats by a score of 5-4.

Grant Carmann made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Legend, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past ThunderRidge 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Tyler Houston, who gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks to keep ThunderRidge off the board.

On the hitting side, Legend saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Meuli, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Jacob Fladebo was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Legend's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Rock Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Rock Canyon hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Legend struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Everything went Rock Canyon's way against Legend in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Rock Canyon made off with a 10-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
