North Muskegon strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Shelby Tigers by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-4 on Tuesday.

Kylan Nielsen was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Jaxon Bean also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

North Muskegon's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average this season. As for Shelby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, North Muskegon will venture away from home to challenge Oakridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shelby, they will host Kent City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
