Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Aurora Houn Dawgs. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Houn Dawgs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Aurora, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Hillcrest is taking a road trip to take on Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Aurora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ozark at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
