Six must be Glastonbury's lucky number: they beat Ludlowe with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Guardians beat the Falcons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Guardians, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Glastonbury pushed their record up to 10-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ludlowe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Glastonbury will head out to take on Southington on Saturday. The Blue Knights' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Guardians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Ludlowe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
