Football Recap: Woodson Takes a Loss

Woodson is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Martinsburg. The Warriors took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 70-6. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Woodson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Martinsburg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Woodson will host Digital Pioneers Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Martinsburg, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hedgesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
