Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Lakes Prep Takes a Loss

Pinecrest Lakes Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Faith Christian Lions. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Faith Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

Pinecrest Lakes Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Faith Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pinecrest Lakes Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Orlando Science at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Faith Christian will square off against rival Victory Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
