Basketball Recap: Centerville Gets the Win

Centerville is still undefeated this season after their match against Vermillion on Saturday, but Vermillion came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Centerville Tornadoes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 win over the Vermillion Tanagers. The 48-point effort marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Centerville's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Vermillion, they moved to 4-1 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Centerville will welcome Beresford at 11:30 a.m. on December 31st. As for Vermillion, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
