Halifax Academy extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Payton Odom. The Vikings blew past the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets 3-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Odom, who had seven digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Halifax Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-18.

Halifax Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Roanoke Rapids, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Coming up, Halifax Academy will head out to take on Pungo Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roanoke Rapids, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Wake Prep Academy on the 11th.
