Jackson Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Richland Rangers a 1-0 shutout. Give the Raiders' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ben Jones, who's now up to 13 this season.

Jackson Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0-1. As for Richland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Presbyterian Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
