Volleyball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Douglas

Evanston faced Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Devils fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-1. The Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearcats earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Kyan Lawlar paced Evanston's offense, picking up ten kills. Lawlar got some help from Afton Brown and her 13 assists. Barbora Bratrsovska controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
