Volleyball Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rancho Cucamonga was the 3-0 winner over Glendora when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Tartans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rancho Cucamonga was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Glendora work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 16-25, 26-24, 25-15, 21-25, 17-15.

Leading Glendora to victory were Kaleia Zeits and Lorelei Adams. Zeits had 22 digs and three aces, while Adams had eight digs and five aces. Zeits is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Barrett, who had 18 assists and three digs.

Rancho Cucamonga's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Glendora, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancho Cucamonga will welcome Santiago at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chino Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
