Softball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Takes a Loss

Groton-Dunstable fell victim to Marlborough and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Panthers. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Groton-Dunstable's record is now 3-7. As for Marlborough, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Groton-Dunstable will square off against Nashoba Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Marlborough, they will challenge Oakmont Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
