Soccer Game Preview: Cristo Rey Tampa vs. Universal Academy

The Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Universal Academy Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cristo Rey Tampa managed to keep up with Santa Fe Catholic until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cristo Rey Tampa came up short against Santa Fe Catholic, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Universal Academy). They never let Classical Prep onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 3.4 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Classical Prep from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Hasan Fayiz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Cristo Rey Tampa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Universal Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
