Basketball Recap: Monticello's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Monticello has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-23 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maquoketa Cardinals. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Monticello's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Maquoketa, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
