Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington suffered their closest loss since March 9th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Dyer County Choctaws by a score of 6-4. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Dyer County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season.

Lexington has already played their next contest, a 9-5 victory against Chester County on the 9th. As for Dyer County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Crockett County on the 9th.
