Basketball Recap: Hayden Tong's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hillsboro Christian Academy over Liberty Bible Academy

Hillsboro Christian Academy lost against Liberty Bible Academy back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crusaders fell 38-34 to the Patriots.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Tong, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds. Tong also put up a block, which was his first of the season. Jonah Brannon was another key player, putting up six points.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Liberty Bible Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Hillsboro Christian Academy and Liberty Bible Academy will both be playing Adams County Christian the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
