Soccer Game Preview: Alameda vs. Junipero Serra

The Alameda Hornets will head out to take on the Junipero Serra Padres at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Alameda duked it out with Berkeley in a bug-themed battle on Friday. The Hornets fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Alameda couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Junipero Serra was able to grind out a solid win over Menlo-Atherton on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Junipero Serra's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Alameda, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.
