Basketball Recap: Coahoma Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

Coahoma extended their road winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Baylor Wright. The Coahoma Bulldogs blew past the Crane Cranes 60-38 on Friday thanks in part to Wright, who went 12 for 21 on her way to 31 points and five steals. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Madi Renteria was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Coahoma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Crane, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Stanton the next time they take the court. Coahoma will host Stanton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Crane will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st.
