Basketball Recap: Tuttle's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Tuttle was the 44-29 winner over Kingfisher when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tuttle Tigers were dealt a 56-28 defeat at the hands of the Kingfisher Yellowjackets on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tuttle's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Kingfisher, their record now sits at 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuttle will be home for the holidays to greet Elk City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Elk City will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tuttle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingfisher, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Anadarko at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
