Aubrey Rogers' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Northridge with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Patriots have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jayden Bartlett was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Lyons, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Palmetto Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Mariner by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday.
Greg Corrasco spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Palmetto Ridge is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-6 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Anthony Del Sol, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Tommy Cox was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
