Recap: Westbury Christian Wildcats vs. Alpha Omega Academy Lions
The Westbury Christian Wildcats won the last time they faced the Alpha Omega Academy Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Westbury Christian secured a 42-38 W over Alpha Omega Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westbury Christian.
Alpha Omega Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Maddie Wallace and Kathryn Peach. Wallace scored 14 points along with six rebounds, while Peach dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Peach hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Westbury Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Alpha Omega Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Westbury Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alpha Omega Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Northland Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
