Volleyball Recap: White Plains Christian Comes Up Short

White Plains Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shining Light Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, White Plains Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10.

White Plains Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shining Light Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, White Plains Christian will welcome Abundant Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shining Light Academy, they will challenge True Gospel Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
