Recap: Whitmore Lake Trojans vs. Parkway Christian Eagles
The Whitmore Lake Trojans lost against the Parkway Christian Eagles back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Whitmore Lake fell to Parkway Christian 53-48. Whitmore Lake has not had much luck with Parkway Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Tyler Powers was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks for Parkway Christian. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Harrison-lizbinski, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Whitmore Lake's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Parkway Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitmore Lake will take on Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkway Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hope Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
