Basketball Recap: Star-Spencer Comes Up Short

Star-Spencer came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Jones Longhorns 65-13. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Longhorns are ranked 155th).

Star-Spencer has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Jones, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Star-Spencer has already played their next contest (against Webster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jones also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against North Rock Creek.
