Basketball Recap: Sheyenne Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Sheyenne's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They snuck past the Shanley Deacons with a 60-55 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-67 back in January.

Sheyenne is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Shanley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Sheyenne has already played their next contest (against Minnehaha Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shanley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Red River at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Red River will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Shanley surely won't give up without a fight.
