Basketball Game Preview: Providence Classical Christian Highlanders vs. Puget Sound Adventist Sharks

The Providence Classical Christian Highlanders will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Puget Sound Adventist Sharks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Providence Classical Christian nor Puget Sound Adventist posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Providence Classical Christian is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-18 heartbreaker at the hands of Summit Classical Christian School.

Meanwhile, Puget Sound Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Muckleshoot Tribal, falling 46-2.

Providence Classical Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Puget Sound Adventist, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Providence Classical Christian and Puget Sound Adventist were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, but Providence Classical Christian came up empty-handed after a 30-29 defeat.
