Handley has gone a perfect 7-0 against Randolph County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. The timing is sure in Handley's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Randolph County has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Handley's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over Central of Coosa County. That looming 12-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.
Hayden Hare tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cordan Patterson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Owen Gabriel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Handley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Randolph County came up short against Beulah on Tuesday, falling 14-1.
Randolph County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Jones' first of the season.
Randolph County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Handley, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Handley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Randolph County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
