After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dunlap, Morton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Farmington Farmers 3-2. The Potters haven't had any issues with the Farmers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Morton's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Farmington, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Morton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Richwoods on the 28th. As for Farmington, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Peoria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on the 5th.
