Basketball Recap: Monument Valley's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Monument Valley lost to Window Rock back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Monument Valley Mustangs secured a 58-53 W over the Window Rock Fighting Scouts.

Despite the loss, Window Rock still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Brown, who went 8 of 18 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Brown has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaacc Hickson, who posted six points.

Monument Valley's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Window Rock, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Monument Valley has already played their next contest, a 51-25 win against Ganado on the 21st. As for Window Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-52 defeat against Chinle on the 21st.
