David Evans leads Whale Branch to victory over Bethune-Bowman

Recap: Whale Branch Warriors vs. Bethune-Bowman Mohawks

The Whale Branch Warriors entered their tilt with the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Whale Branch sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 win over Bethune-Bowman on Friday. This was payback for Whale Branch, who suffered a 54-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.

David Evans was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 12 points along with three steals. Kj Chisholm was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.

Whale Branch is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Bethune-Bowman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
