Soccer Recap: Irrigon Takes a Loss

Irrigon lost against Umatilla back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights came up short against the Vikings, falling 4-0. Irrigon's loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Irrigon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Umatilla, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1-2.

Looking ahead, Irrigon will take on Prescott at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Irrigon will be up against Prescott's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Umatilla, they will face off against Pendleton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
