Baseball Recap: Siloam Springs Takes a Loss

Siloam Springs's last matchup with Gentry could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Siloam Springs Panthers came up short against the Gentry Pioneers, falling 18-3. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Braxton Majors was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Siloam Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gentry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Siloam Springs will face off against Mountain Home at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gentry, they will square off against Lonoke at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
