Basketball Recap: Cape May County Tech Takes a Loss

Cape May County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Cedar Creek Pirates, falling 76-30. The Hawks lost against the Pirates in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 66-51 score last time.

Cape May County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Cedar Creek, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks challenge the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar Creek has already played their next game (against Williamstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
