Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Skates Past Excel Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harts Bluff, Trinity Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-24 victory over the Excel Christian Academy Eagles. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 11th (when they won 70-30).

Cenzie Pyeatt produced another solid effort almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine steals. Pyeatt is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmen Nesbit, who posted eight points and 11 boards.

With the win, Trinity Christian Academy broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for Excel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Trinity Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
