Volleyball Recap: Benton Takes a Loss

Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Lee's Summit North Broncos.

Lee's Summit North can attribute much of their success to Madilynn Benne, who had ten digs and five aces. Benne is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lee's Summit North, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pembroke Hill on the 6th. As for Lee's Summit North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Smithville on the 6th.
