Volleyball Recap: Custer Comes Up Short

Custer lost against Hill City back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Rangers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 22-25, 25-18.

Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Hill City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Custer and Lead-Deadwood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hill City, they will square off against Lakota Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
