Briggs won the last time they faced West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bruins put the hurt on the Cowboys with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

While Briggs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-22.

Jasmine Truss paced Briggs' offense, picking up nine kills. Truss got some help from Olivia Lehman and her 11 assists.

Briggs' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for West, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Briggs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Walnut Ridge on the 2nd. West has also already played their next match (against Marion-Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
