Basketball Game Recap: West Genesee Wildcats vs. Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars

West Genesee lost against Cicero-North Syracuse on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The West Genesee Wildcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 78-56 to the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Northstars are ranked 11th).

This is the second loss in a row for West Genesee and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

West Genesee has already played their next matchup (against Liverpool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cicero-North Syracuse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-57 victory against Auburn on the 31st.
