Soccer Recap: Scottsbluff Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gering last Monday, Scottsbluff came back down to earth. The Bearcats came up short against the Kearney Catholic Stars on Friday, falling 6-1. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Scottsbluff it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabe Hernandez Limon, who's now up to four this season.

With the defeat, Scottsbluff broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. As for Kearney Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Scottsbluff didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Skutt Catholic on the 5th. As for Kearney Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Gross Catholic on the 5th.
