Volleyball Recap: Drexel Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Drexel took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Jasper, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-2 on Tuesday.

Drexel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 20-25, 25-9, 25-14, 25-8.

Drexel pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Jasper, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drexel will challenge Osceola at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Archie at 7:00 p.m.
