Football Game Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. Van Horn Eagles

Eldorado will square off against Van Horn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eldorado will be strutting in after a victory while Van Horn will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Eldorado needed a bit of extra time to put away Sterling City. They snuck past Sterling City with a 20-14 win. Eldorado hasn't had any issues with Sterling City recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The critical scores for Eldorado came from Kane Brock and Garrett Walling.

Meanwhile, Van Horn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against McCamey, falling 55-21.

Eldorado now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Van Horn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Eldorado against Van Horn in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-0 win. Will Eldorado repeat their success, or does Van Horn has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
