North Shelby is 9-1 against Brashear since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, North Shelby lost to Westran at home by a 69-54 margin. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-49, which was the final score in Brashear's tilt against Atlanta last Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Shelby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brashear, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

North Shelby barely slipped by Brashear in their previous matchup back in February, winning 55-54. Will North Shelby repeat their success, or does Brashear have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
