Volleyball Recap: Edmonson County Takes a Loss

If Edmonson County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cloverport on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost five in a row.

Edmonson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Allen County-Scottsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edmonson County will welcome Green County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Allen County-Scottsville, they will take on Todd County Central in a tournament on Saturday.
