Brighton faced Stoney Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Stoney Creek still got an impressive performance from Eleanor Luhmann, who had 11 digs and two assists. Luhmann is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Stoney Creek, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
