Soccer Recap: Wesley Chapel Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Lake Gibson typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Wesley Chapel proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lake Gibson Braves by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Yousef Ibraham was the driving force of Wesley Chapel's attack as he scored both of Wesley Chapel's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Wesley Chapel has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those 12 contests. As for Lake Gibson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5-3.
